The Thunder Bay Police Service continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of David Hugh Sweeney.
On Aug. 31, 2018 at about 9 p.m., 59-year-old David Sweeney was found deceased in his North Algoma Street residence. An investigation determined his death was the result of a homicide.
Police have spoken to numerous persons in relation to this investigation and continue to actively investigate.
