THUNDER BAY — Police have now notified the family of the individual who died in a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian on Dawson Road last week.
The male victim was pronounced deceased after he was struck by a tractor-trailer just before 2:30 pm on Nov. 30.
In a brief statement Wednesday, city police said the person's family has requested that his identity not be made public.
No charges have been laid, but the investigation into the collision is ongoing.
