THUNDER BAY -- If you love that chicken at Popeyes, Monday might be a special day.
The international fast-food chain is expected to open its doors in Thunder Bay for the first time, offering up its world famous chicken sandwich, nugget combos and signature dipping sauces.
Though the company has not confirmed the opening, a local sign company that installed the signage on the Thunder Centre restaurant posted that the latest location is opening on Monday.
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen operates more than 3,300 restaurants across North America and is a subsidiary of Restaurant Brands International, which also owns the Tim Hortons and Burger King brands.
