THUNDER BAY - Commuters who regularly use Edward Street to get around Thunder Bay will have to find a different route on Thursday and Friday.

City officials on Monday announced road work, which has been going on for the past few months, will close the road completely on the two days, between Redwood Avenue and Churchill Drive.

The closure is to allow for top-lift paving and line painting.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and obey all posted signage.

Weather may have an impact on the length of the closure and the schedule is subject to change.
