Postal strike means DSSAB cheques will have to be picked up

District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board says it won't mail out November cheques as a result of the work stoppage.

THUNDER BAY – The strike by Canada Post employees will impact clients of the District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board.

The Board on Friday issued a release stating that in order to ensure the continuity of services, cheques for November will not be mailed out, but instead will only be available for pick up at their May Street office.

Updates during the strike, which began on Friday, will be provided on the TBDSSAB website.
