A pre-trial date has been set for the man accused of assaulting pro-life demonstrators with chocolate milk in June.

Brian Hamilton was charged with assault after allegedly assaulting members of the Calgary-based Canadian Centre for Bio-ethical Reform.

A pre-trial date was set for Oct. 2 at the Ontario Court of Justice Monday.

The pro-life demonstrators stopped in town in June as part of a nationwide tour. It’s alleged that Hamilton threw chocolate milk on the demonstrators after he became frustrated with the graphic images they were displaying of aborted fetuses.

The incident was allegedly caught on video and posted on YouTube.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
