Premier to visit city on Thursday

Ontario leader will make stops in Oliver Paipoonge and Thunder Bay during visit to Northwestern Ontario.

THUNDER BAY – Ontario Premier Doug Ford is coming back to Thunder Bay for the second time in the past six months.

Ford’s office confirmed the premier will be making a stop on Thursday in Oliver Paipoonge, along with Minister of Energy Todd Smith and Minister of Indigenous Affairs Greg Rickford.

Ford will later meet with Thunder Bay Mayor Ken Boshcoff to provide an update on the city’s progress meeting its housing target.
