THUNDER BAY — A search warrant executed at a Thunder Bay address has resulted in three arrests on drug trafficking and drug related charges.

Ontario Provincial Police, in a release issued on Saturday, said on Thursday, Nov. 21 they attended the address in search of a male suspect wanted on outstanding warrant charges. While at the residence, officers determined the house allegedly contained controlled substances and proceeds of crime.

With the assistance of the Thunder Bay community street crime unit, a search warrant was executed resulting in the seizure of suspected crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of Canadian currency.

Three male suspects from Sudbury, Scarborough and Thunder Bay were arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

All three were remanded into custody awaiting their next court appearance.
