Province announces two area solar projects

The province announced the approval of more than 500 new green energy projects around Ontario, including two here in the Northwest.

The province announced the approval of more than 500 new green energy projects around Ontario, including two here in the Northwest.

Cyntech Corporation plans to build a 250-kilowatt solar farm in Dorion, while TNT Properties is creating a 40-kilowatt solar farm in Terrace Bay.

The projects were granted contracts through the province's Feed In Tariff program.
