THUNDER BAY — Tuesday was an exciting day for some local youngsters as drivers of the CRT Race team brought their race cars to the Boys and Girls Club on Windsor Street.
Children were able to meet the drivers and sit inside the marvellous machines that race at the Thunder City Speedway.
They also received a hot dog and snack lunch thanks to Half-Way Motors group.
CRT Racing representative Daniel Trevisanutto said he was pleased to be able to bring the race cars to the site.
"You should have seen the kids' eyes light up when they got to sit inside the cars," he said.
"It was a thrill not only for them but for the racers as well."
