Riverside’s Fort Frances COVID Assessment Centre has a new location for appointments starting on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021.
This new fully drive-thru testing centre is located off Sinclair Street to the West of the staff parking lot behind LaVerendrye General Hospital. Swab tests will now be done under a covered structure to protect the public and our staff from the elements while tested individuals can remain in their vehicle, similar to any drive-thru service.
Drive-thru swab testing at Riverside’s COVID-19 Assessment Centre operates by appointment only. Appointments can be book by calling the Assessment Centre at (807)274-3261 ext. 4913.
The health and safety of the entire community we serve remains Riverside’s continued focus and priority, not just in response to COVID-19, but at all times for our organization.
COVID-19 Drive-Thru Assessment Centre

Location: Sinclair Street — West of LVGH Staff Parking Lot
Drive-Thru: Traffic flow off Armit Avenue to drive-thru building entrance. On-site signage directions will be given, and on street waiting lines/parking spots are marked.
Hours: Seven days a week; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment only.
