Rogers wireless and internet outage affects Tbaytel customers

Tbaytel says it is working with national carriers in an effort to restore service.

THUNDER BAY – A nationwide outage experienced by Rogers wireless and internet users is also impacting TbayTel customers in Thunder Bay.

A Tbaytel spokesperson said they are working on a solution.

“Our team is working with national carriers to restore services as quickly as possible.”

Banking, including Interac and ATMs, has also been affected by the outage.

“We know how important it is for our customers to stay connected. We are aware of issues currently affecting our networks and our teams are fully engaged to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We will continue to keep you updated as we have more information to share,” Rogers shared on its social media accounts.
