THUNDER BAY — A handful of students avoided injury after a school bus was involved in a collision Thursday afternoon.
A school bus, which had eight children onboard, was involved in an incident in the area of Pearl and Secord streets around 3 p.m.
A Thunder Bay police spokesperson said it's believed the bus driver experienced a medical event, causing the bus to veer into the wrong lane and collide with a vehicle.
The eight students, as well as the driver of the other vehicle, were uninjured, the spokesperson said.
