School bus involved in minor collision

No one was injured and the bus had no visible damage.

A school bus didn't appear to have any damage following a minor collision on Wednesday afternoon.

THUNDER BAY — For the second time this week, a school bus was involved in a collision.

On Wednesday afternoon, a school bus was involved in a minor collision near the intersection of Arthur Street and the Thunder Bay Expressway.

Thunder Bay police said there were 12 students on board the bus and no one was injured.

The students were from St. Patrick High School.

A white car loaded onto a tow truck at the scene had visible damage to both the front and back end of the vehicle.

The bus had no visible damage.

Attempts to reach Student Transportation of Services of Thunder Bay by Dougall Media were unsuccessful on Wednesday.  

On Monday, a bus carrying 12 children from Kakabeka Falls Public School overturned outside of the city when it hit a patch of ice. Lakehead Public Schools said one person suffered a minor injury.
