THUNDER BAY – Applications are available online for senior elementary and high school bus service for the 2021-22 school year.
Students in need of transportation are asked to submit their request no later than April 30.
To qualify, students must live more than 1.6 kilometres from their board designated school, according to Student Transportation Services of Thunder Bay software, which can be found under 'eligibility' at www.ststb.ca.
Senior elementary and secondary school students may have to walk up to 800 metres to catch a bus in residential areas.
Students who register at a school other than their designated board school will not be provided transportation and any student who does not ride the bus at least once in any 20 consecutive school days may be subject to removal from busing and must reapply in order to be reinstated.
