THUNDER BAY -- Students will have to find their own way to school on Friday - at least those in urban classrooms.

Student Transportation Services of Thunder Bay announced all school bus transportation has been cancelled for the day, and Lakehead Public Schools says its rural schools will also be closed.

All schools under the Thunder Bay Catholic, French Catholic and French Public boards will remain open.

Schools that will be closed on Friday, due to the continuing early spring storm, include Crestiview, Five Mile, Gorham & Ware, McKenzie, Norwesterview, Whitefish Valley, Valley Central and Kakabeka Falls public schools.
