Single-vehicle collision ends in charges

THUNDER BAY — A single-vehicle collision has led to impaired charges just outside of Thunder Bay. 

OPP responded to a collision on Highway 61 at Chippewa Rd on Sunday evening. 

During their investigation of the scene, police determined the 32-year-old Thunder Bay driver was impaired by alcohol. The driver was arrested and is facing charges. 

The accused was released with a future court date.
