THUNDER BAY — An ongoing investigation by Thunder Bay Police has led to the arrest of six people in connection with drug trafficking.

Members of the TBPS intelligence unit executed search warrants last week at a home on Banning Street and at a commercial address on MacDougall Street.

Searches of the two locations resulted in the seizure of quantities of suspected crack cocaine and fentanyl, along with over $19,000 in cash.

Five of the accused are from Thunder Bay, and the sixth is from the Greater Toronto Area.

Five of the individuals are charged with possession for trafficking and with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime, while the other is charged with simple possession.
