THUNDER BAY – the city’s downtown south core will play host to three big events this coming weekend.
The annual Riverfest is being held in conjunction with the Fort William Street Festival and Doors Open Thunder Bay.
Riverfest will take place at the Kam River Park and will feature boat tours, a kids’ fishing derby, live stage shows, and an artisans market. A short walk away, the Street Festival will feature family activities, vendors and live demonstrations.
Meanwhile, the Doors Open tour allows people to visit historic city buildings.
All three events will take place this Saturday, with the Doors Open event beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Finn Hall.
Families are encouraged to take advantage of the short walking distance between the three events.
