THUNDER BAY – Jennie’s Events held its 2022 Craft Market at the Moose Hall and the crafters and vendors braved the heavy rain to get a chance to show off their skills and perhaps make a few sales.
“We have 64 vendors that came in. We generally take more crafters than businesses; I think we usually only have around five or six businesses and the rest of our 64 tables are crafters and they just come and showcase the really neat stuff that they have,” said Jennifer Hill, organizer.
“They usually post up little photos of what they have as well as how to reach them on our event page so that people can have an online option as well.”
There were a wide variety of goods available for people to purchase and Eat local pizza also had a table set up where vendors and shoppers could buy lunch.
Hill, says that she's amazed by the creativity of the crafters each year and that there's always something new to see.
"We've got so many wonderful vendors that come back year after year, and there's always new ones where you look at their stuff and you're like 'man, I didn't even think of this.' The creativity is just amazing, the different things you find and see,” said Hill
