St. Patrick High School closed Tuesday due to threat

All classes and after-school activities are cancelled for the day while police investigate a threat

THUNDER BAY -- There will be no classes Tuesday at St. Patrick High School.

The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board announced Monday evening that the school will be closed as the result of a threat received earlier in the day.

Details were not immediately provided.

The board said bus transportation to the high school will be cancelled Tuesday, as will all after-school activities and all community use of the school.

It said the Thunder Bay Police Service had been contacted about the threat, and that anyone with information about the incident should contact police at (807) 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at (807) 623-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com.

The statement promised that more information will be provided when it becomes available.
