St. Pat's cleared after student evacuation

The release indicated that students will be allowed to pick up their belongings today, between 3:30 - 4:30 pm today.

THUNDER BAY — After St. Patrick High School received a threat Thursday morning, the school has been deemed safe by local police. 

Students were evacuated from the school while Thunder Bay Police did a walk-through of the school. No threats were identified in an update released by the Thunder Bay District Catholic School Board. 

The release indicated that students will be allowed to pick up their belongings today, between 3:30 - 4:30 pm. However, community use of schools and permits have been cancelled for this evening. 

All classes and school activities will resume on Friday as scheduled.
