Stabbing spree suspect to return to court in December

The man accused of going on a stabbing spree at a Port Arthur apartment building won’t appear in court again until next month. Eli John appeared at the Thunder Bay Ontario Court of Justice on Tuesday.

The man accused of going on a stabbing spree at a Port Arthur apartment building won’t appear in court again until next month.

Eli John appeared at the Thunder Bay Ontario Court of Justice on Tuesday.

Police charged the 29-year-old with numerous stabbing and assault charges.

On the morning of Oct. 8, officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service responded to an incident in which four people were stabbed or assaulted at the Andras Court apartment complex.

Officers arrested John shortly after arriving on scene.

A provincial judge adjourned the case until Dec. 19.
