THUNDER BAY — Police have charged a 23-year old local man with aggravated assault after an incident on the 300 block of Wentworth Cres., early Sunday morning.
Police say an adult male victim was transported to hospital for treatment of injuries that "have been determined to be serious but not life threatening."
The accused is also charged with breach of a release order. He has appeared in court and was remanded into custody with a future court date.
Police are continuing to investigate assault and the Major Crime Unit is involved in the investigation.
