City police have arrested a man suspected of stealing a charitable donation box from a coffee shop.

City police have arrested a man suspected of stealing a charitable donation box from a coffee shop.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service released photographs from video surveillance that appeared to show a man taking a Change for Autism box from the counter of a Frederica Street Robin’s Donuts earlier this week.

A suspect was arrested Thursday after members of the Thunder Bay Police Community Response Team located the suspect riding a bicycle on Amelia and Tarbutt Streets just after 9 a.m.

The suspect was brought to the Balmoral Street police station without incident.

The 28 year old man was charged with Theft Under $5,000.
