T-Wolves Cicigoi records shutout in OUA debut

WINDSOR, Ont. – Christian Cicigoi made his OUA debut a memorable one.

The rookie Lakehead Thunderwolves goaltender recorded a shutout on the road on Friday night, leading LU to a 1-0 win in their season opener against the host Windsor Lancers.

Kevin Stiles had the lone goal of the contest, scoring with 4:28 to go in the second.

The Wolves are tied for top spot in the OUA east with four other teams and will look to continue their winning ways on Saturday night with a rematch against the Lancers.

LU will play their home opener next Friday night against York.
