KENORA, Ont. — Tbaytel says it has completed phase two of the installation of its state-of-the-art fibre service in the Kenora area.
It means more than 1,000 additional homes and businesses – mostly in the Keewatin section of the city – can now access the service which provides greatly expanded bandwidth.
Customers can also subscribe to the area's only five-product telecommunications bundle including mobility, internet, TV, phone and security.
Tbaytel President Dan Topatigh says bringing fibre to additional communities across the region is a key part of the company's commitment to providing advanced telecommunications services in Northern Ontario.
Since the Kenora expansion project was announced last year, Tbaytel has built a modern fibre optic network and a new regional network centre to serve as headquarters for its local technicians and to store network components.
Its local retail sales partner, Donny B, has also completely renovated its showroom.
