THUNDER BAY – One of the country’s most recognizable chef’s is heading to this city.
Chef Michael Smith, best known for hosting Food Network programs Chef Michael’s Kitchen, Chef Abroad and Chef at Home, will be preparing a gourmet four course meal at Bight Restaurant at Prince Arthur’s Landing.
The local appearance is part of the Have Dinner with Chef Michael Smith event in support of the St. Joseph’s Foundation. The dinner is set for June 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the waterfront eatery and tickets, which are on sale for $175, are still available.

Chef Michael Smith’s television programs are seen in more than 100 countries. In addition to the programs he hosts, Smith also appears as a judge on the Food Network’s Chopped Canada.
