KENORA — Three people are facing drug trafficking charges after Kenora Ontario Provincial Police executed a drug search warrant last Friday.
In a news release, police say they attended a River Drive residence in Kenora on Friday, March 5, as part of an on-going drug investigation.
Police seized drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia.
Matthew Morgan, 34, and Jamie Plamondon, 54, both of Kenora face the following charges:
- Possession of a Schedule one substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule one substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Cocaine,
- Possession of a Schedule one substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Opioid
- Possession of a Schedule one Substance
A third person, Carey Sas, 52, of Kenora was charged with the following:
- Possession of a Schedule one substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule one substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule one substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Opioid
- Possession of a Schedule one Substance
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Two of the accused were released on appearance notices to attend court next on April 15. Police say the third individual was held for bail.
