THUNDER BAY — A pair of drug busts in the city has led to trafficking charges against two residents of Thunder Bay and a person from the Greater Toronto Area.
Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service's intelligence unit and emergency task unit executed search warrants last week at a Johnson Avenue residence and at a home on Machar Avenue.
They seized drugs on the premises including suspected cocaine along with paraphernalia consistent with trafficking.
A 60-year-old Thunder Bay man and a 37-year-old man from Brampton were arrested at the Johnson Avenue location.
Both were charged with trafficking, while the Brampton resident was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon, breach of probation, and breach of a release order.
At the Machar Avenue address a 37-year-old man from Thunder Bay was charged with trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in crystal meth, breach of probation and possession of property obtained by crime.
Police have not released the names of the accused.
