THUNDER BAY – Three people are facing drug-trafficking and firearms charges as a result of an ongoing drug investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police.
The three individuals were arrested at a hotel in the city on Tuesday and police seized about $77,000 worth of drugs, including 450 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, 67 grams of suspected cocaine, 58 grams of suspected fentanyl, 34 suspected hydromorphone pills, 95 suspected Oxycodone pills, and a Glock .45 calibre handgun with ammunition.
The OPP is not releasing the name of the hotel.
A 45-year-old individual, a 40-year-old individual and a 38-year-old individual, all from Thunder Bay, have been charged with possession of cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking, as well as several firearms-related offences.
