Thunder Bay Airport crash continues to cause some flight disruptions (2 Photos)

THUNDER BAY — While the investigation into Monday evening's fatal plane crash at Thunder Bay Airport continues, travellers should prepare for the possibility of some flight cancellations or delays.

The pilot died in the fiery crash of a twin-engine Rockwell Aero Commander 690 B shortly after takeoff at 9:12 p.m.

The plane was en route to Dryden.

The crash site on the runway is being held for the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.

It's deployed a team of investigators to Thunder Bay.

On Tuesday morning, An Air Canada flight and a  Flair Airlines flight to Toronto were both cancelled.

An Air Canada flight from Toronto was also cancelled.

Thunder Bay Airport advises passengers to check with their airline for updates on the status of specific flights. 

Officials have not yet provided any further details.
