THUNDER BAY — The confirmed incidence of COVID-19 in the Thunder Bay region is holding relatively steady so far this week.
As of Wednesday, there were 86 active lab-confirmed cases, two more than on Monday.
These included 29 new cases diagnosed over the previous two days.
TBDHU said there were 28 people in district hospitals with COVID-19, including five in intensive care.
The respective figures on Monday were 28 and four.
During the week of June 12 to 18, just under 10 per cent of COVID-19 tests conducted in the district returned a positive result.
This was a drop of about two per cent from the previous week.
