THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay residents headed off to work and school Tuesday morning and encountered some slippery roads.
A school bus transporting students slid off course and got stuck while making a turn at Van Norman Street and College Street.
The incident occurred on a hill, making it impossible for the driver to extricate the vehicle without help.
A spokesperson for the bus company said no one was injured, and the bus was eventually able to continue on its route.
According to Environment Canada, the Thunder Bay area will continue to experience periods of light snow today, possibly mixed with drizzle.
The temperature will hold steady around the freezing point.
