Thunder Bay Fit4Less moving to Intercity

The new facility will open in the Intercity Shopping Centre in 2026.

THUNDER BAY — Fit4Less is changing locations in Thunder Bay.

The Canadian company has over 100 locations nationwide, with one facility operating in the city.

This gym currently runs out of the Thunder Bay McIntyre Centre on Memorial Avenue.

“We’re thrilled by this upcoming move and we are excited to soon offer our members an even larger facility, equipped with a variety of new equipment,” said Kathy MacKinnon, the chief operating officer for Fit4Less, in a written statement.

“The new facility will be opening in 2026 and we will share more information with our members when details are finalized in the coming months.”

At this time, the company said it is unavailable for an interview on the move.

However, Fit4Less confirmed that the gym would relocate to a space nearby in the Intercity Shopping Centre.

It is believed this new location will help aid the club's increasing membership.

"We’re delighted that Fit4Less will be coming to Intercity Shopping Centre and look forward to welcoming them," said officials with corporate marketing for the Intercity Shopping Centre, in a written statement.

"The centre is a central hub where the community can shop, eat, work and play, and Fit4Less will be a wonderful complement to our existing stores and services."

The centre plans to make an announcement when more information becomes available.
