THUNDER BAY -- The winter weather closures are starting to pile up.

In addition to Lakehead University cancelling in-person classes for the day, the Thunder Bay Food Bank has announced that because of the storm, which has led to accumulations of up to 15 centimetres of snow in the city, and the temporary cancellation of city transit services, it will not be open during its regular business hours on Friday.

Instead the food bank will resume operations on Monday, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
