THUNDER BAY — In the anticipation of a continuing surge of COVID-19 patients, the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre has expanded its COVID-19 Care Unit.
The hospital announced Monday afternoon that it has added eight new beds to the existing 13 beds in the specialized unit.
TBRHSC currently has 19 admitted patients who have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
