Thunder Bay police investigating report of stolen ATV

Police say the all-terrain vehicle was taken after it was dropped off for servicing at a business.

THUNDER BAY — Police in Thunder Bay say they’re looking for more information about a stolen all-terrain vehicle.

In a media release issued Tuesday afternoon, Thunder Bay police said the theft happened after it was dropped off for servicing at a business in the 900 block of Tungsten Street. The vehicle was dropped off there on Saturday March 8.

Police said their investigation found there was a pickup truck parked in the area that night and that a suspect was seen loading a vehicle onto that truck just after midnight on Sunday March 9.

Police described the suspect as a white male, about five-foot-10-inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing black eyeglasses, a hoodie and jeans. Police said he was with person who appeared to be female and who was driving the truck.

The truck was described as being a newer, dark grey Toyota Tundra SR5.

The stolen ATV is described as a red 2024 Honda Rubicon 700cc model. The vehicle identification number is 1HFTE3316RJ000117.

Police said their break-and-enter robbery unit is involved in the case.
