Thunder Bay resident wins $75K on instant ticket

THUNDER BAY – A Thunder Bay resident won the top prize after scratching a winning instant scratch ticket.

Holly Campbell, 47, won on a $75,000 prize with an instant Bejeweled ticket she purchased at Mac’s on Cumberland Street.

Campbell discovered her win at home when her ticket was almost thrown into the garbage.

While at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto she said she couldn’t believe she had won and had to have her friends take another look.

Campbell said she plans to use her winnings to help her family, because family comes first.

Instant Bejeweled is available for $3 a play and the odds of winning a prize are 1 in 3.66.
