THUNDER BAY – Jacqueline Landry says nothing could have prepared her for the rush of winning big on Daily Keno.

The Thunder Bay woman played her numbers for last month’s Christmas Day draw, then checked them on her tablet and was shocked to learn she’d won $250,000.

“I checked my ticket using the OLG app on my tablet. That’s when I discovered I’d won big,” Landry said, visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim her winnings.

“It was a shocking and emotional moment filled with excitement and happy tears. I think I’m still in shock. I’ve shared the good news with my family, and everyone is thrilled for me.”

Landry plans to pay some bills, buy a new vehicle and treat herself.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Husky on Alloy Drive in Thunder Bay.
