SAULT STE. MARIE — A Thunder Bay resident has won the Sault Area Hospital Foundation's most recent 50/50 draw.

The winning ticket in the November draw was held by Joy Harris, and is worth just shy of $82,000.

She's originally from Sault Ste. Marie, and still has family there.

Harris said she was thrilled when she received the good news in a phone call.

When asked about her plans for her winnings, she said "It still doesn't feel real yet, but we will be celebrating with family, putting on a new deck, and supporting a few charities that are important to me."
