Thunder Bay's Agot Makeer named to MacDonald's All American game

Former St. Ignatius star will showcase her game against some of the top players in the U.S. and Canada in the prestigious April 1 contest in New York.

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay’s Agot Makeer has been named to play in the MacDonald’s All American girls’ basketball game slated for April 1 at the Barclay’s Center in New York.

Makeer, who starred for the St. Ignatius Falcons before heading to prep school in southern Ontario, was one of 24 players named to the game, and one of the top five on the ESPNW list.

Now attending Florida’s Montverde Academy, the 6-foot-1 Makeer has narrowed her college choice down to South Carolina, Connecticut and Michigan State.
