ThunderCon guest list features actor Kevin Sorbo

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Kevin Sorbo, the actor best known for portraying Hercules in multiple television movies, and later, Capt. Dylan Hunt in the sci-fi series Andromeda, will head to this city in the fall.

ThunderCon has confirmed Sorbo’s attendance for the 2018 ThunderCon, taking place Oct. 27 and 28 at the Valhalla Inn and Conference Centre.  

In addition to portraying Hercules and Capt. Hunt, Sorbo’s acting resume features dozens of television and movie roles since the ‘90s. A character actor with a variety of guest starring television appearances, Sorbo is as recognizable to mainstream audiences as he is within the fantasy and sci-fi genres.  

“I am so excited that we are able to bring Kevin Sorbo to ThunderCon and to Thunder Bay,” said Toller Madsen, Executive Officer and Vendor Coordinator for ThunderCon. “Kevin is known around the world, having been in extremely popular TV shows in the ‘90s and early 2000s. He is able to cross genres with ease. Big screen or small, he’s a talent whose fans cross both genre and the globe. We are very lucky to be able to bring him to ThunderCon this year.”
