THUNDER BAY — After one of the biggest upsets of the OUA season, the Lakehead Thunderwolves have been recognized for their efforts.

The 10-1 men's basketball team finally cracked the league top 10 on Monday, moving into 10th spot after Saturday's 76-67 win over Carleton.

The Wolves have the second-best record in the country, behind the top-ranked Victoria Vikes, who sit at 8-0.

Lakehead knocked Bishop's, who were seventh last week, out of the rankings.

Toronto Metropolitan, Ottawa, Carleton and Queen's also represent the OUA in the USport Top 10.
