THUNDER BAY – With a postseason berth clinched, the Lakehead Thunderwolves men’s hockey team is making a push to fill the stands for their playoff debut.

When and where the games will be played remains up in the air.

Currently fifth in the OUA West, the Thunderwolves can finish anywhere from first to sixth.

Should they finish in the top two, they’d earn a first-round bye and they’d play Game 2 of their second-round series at Fort William Gardens on Feb. 28.

Game 3, if necessary, would go the following night.

If they finish third or fourth in the OUA West, their first home playoff date will be Friday, Feb. 21 at the Tournament Centre, the team forced from the Gardens because of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Game 3 would be on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Finally, if they finish in either fifth or sixth place, they would open the playoffs at home on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the Tournament Centre, travelling to southern Ontario for Game 2 and, if necessary, Game 3.

Tickets are available online or in person at the Wolf Den, located at 955 Sanders Drive on the LU campus. Ticket-holders must pick up a physical ticket at the Wolf Den, regardless of how the ticket is purchased.

Tickets are $20.
