Contract talks continue between the City of Thunder Bay and the Amalgamated Transit Union, in hopes averting a city-wide transit strike.
ATU President Charlie Brown said Tuesday that the union has agreed to take 95 disputed items off the table, and have presented a counter-proposal to the city.
The two sides will meet again Wednesday.
The union's 130 members are in a legal strike position and could walk off the job as early as this Friday.
