THUNDER BAY — The driver of a transport truck got off with warnings after some of the cargo the truck was carrying fell onto the roadway along Highway 102 on the weekend.
OPP said the incident occurred Sunday near Mud Lake Road.
A social media post by Skilled Truckers Canada includes video that shows debris said to be the remnants of a roll of coiled steel that toppled off the truck shortly before 5:30 pm.
Members of the Thunder Bay OPP Detachment responded to a complaint about the incident, and subsequently initiated a traffic stop.
The operator was then issued two warnings under the Highway Traffic Act for driving with an unsecured load and for failing to properly record duty status changes.
