DRYDEN – A Wednesday afternoon search warrant has resulted in numerous drug-related charges for two people.
Dryden OPP, Community Street Crime Unit, Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau, Northwest Emergency Response Team and Treaty 3 Police Service executed a search warrant Wednesday around 1:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Arthur Street.
Officers located and seized cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl, psilocybin, $810 cash, counterfeit cash and drug paraphernalia.
John Lenny, 44, of Dryden has been charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine, possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-methamphetamine, possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-other drugs, possession of a schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession counterfeit money-have in custody and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police also charged Adam Arsenault, 31, of Dryden with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine, possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-methamphetamine, possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-other drugs, possession of a schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession counterfeit money-have in custody and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The accused was released from custody with a future court date of Sept. 20, 2021 at the Dryden Ontario Court of Justice.
