Two charged with attempted murder after shooting on Finlayson St.

The accused appeared in court and have been remanded into custody with future appearance dates.

THUNDER BAY — Two suspects have been identified and charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting on Finlayson Street late November.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Primary Response Unit had been dispatched to the 300 block of Finlayson Street shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 after receiving reports that there had been a gunshot.

The major crimes unit and forensic identification unit became involved in the ongoing investigation.

Marcus Ragobeer, 23, of Ajax, Ont., and Jessica Lewis, 23, of Thunder Bay, were arrested on Saturday and each charged with attempted murder, police said in a news release issued Monday afternoon. 

There have been no reported injuries related to the incident.

The accused appeared in court and remain in custody with future court appearance dates.

None of the allegations against either of the accused have been proven in court.
