Two tents catch fire in Thunder Bay

Firefighters extinguished the tents, which were not near each other, quickly.

THUNDER BAY – City firefighters and police officers responded to a report of two tents on fire in Kaministiquia River Heritage Park on Tuesday at around 10 a.m. 

No one was injured, said Platoon Chief Robin Roy, who confirmed they are investigating. 

Firefighters extinguished the tents, which were not near each other, quickly.

Roy said it’s unclear how the fires started.
